18 Ways to Stay Active in Circle K During the Summer

* Go to ICON and/or LSSP!

* Go to the Annual K-family Picnic on July 24th!

* Visit your local Kiwanis Club and Key Club. Tell them about your past District Service year.

* Attend a walk or marathon for an important cause! The Special Olympics are in the summer!

* Volunteer at your local library.

* Tutor local high school kids and help them prepare for finals. Help students with summer school work!

* Volunteer at a local nursing home.

* Volunteer at a local pediatric home.

* Sell lemonade for a charity (Check Out Alex’s Lemonade Stand!)

* Volunteer in a soup kitchen/food shelter.

* Volunteer at a local animal shelter

* Write a letter or send a card to a sick child.

* Write a letter or send a card to a soldier

* Clean-up a neighborhood/Sponsor a highway.

* Submit a letter to the Cirkling about how you stayed active!

* Help charter a new club!

* Plan a Social event with your Circle K. Maybe a day at the beach or a baseball game? Remember fellowship is one of the tenets of Circle K! Invite incoming freshmen that have shown interest in the club.

* Start planning what service, leadership, and fellowship events you want to do next year. Start off the semester with a bang!
